Frequently asked questions
How do I run faster?
Tap A as fast as you can — speed comes from how quickly you press, not how long. Alternating two fingers on the A button is the quickest way. In the 100m, pressing before the start signal is a false start.
What are the controls for each event?
- 100m Dash — mash A.
- Long Jump — mash A to run, hold the D-pad at the board for a 40–45° takeoff.
- 110m Hurdles — mash A, tap the D-pad to jump each hurdle.
- Javelin — mash A to run, hold the D-pad to set the angle and throw before the line.
- Skeet — the D-pad fires the left sight, A or B fires the right sight.
- Triple Jump — mash A, then hold the D-pad for each hop, step and jump.
- Archery — press A to stop the wind gauge, then hold A to set about 5° and release.
- High Jump — mash A to run, then hold the D-pad; the angle counts down from 90°.
The labels under the on-screen buttons change to match the current event.
Why did the game end?
Each event has a qualifying mark shown in the scoreboard. If you don't reach it within your tries, it's game over. Qualify to move on to the next event; after all eight, the loop starts again with harder marks.
How do I play with two players?
Connect two game controllers, then choose 2 Players on the title screen with SELECT and press START. The first controller (plus the touch pad and keyboard) is player 1; the second controller is player 2.
Which controllers and keyboards work?
MFi, Xbox and PlayStation controllers that pair with your iPhone or iPad. On a hardware keyboard: X/L/Space = A, Z/K = B, arrows or WASD = D-pad, Return = START, Tab = SELECT.
Are my high score and world records saved?
Yes. They are saved on your device automatically and kept between sessions. Deleting the app removes them.
Does the game need an internet connection?
No. The game plays fully offline. When a connection is available, it sends anonymous crash reports and usage statistics — see the Privacy Policy.
The game crashed or something looks wrong
Crash reports are sent to us automatically and anonymously. If you can, email us what you were doing, which event you were in, and your device model and iOS version — a screenshot helps.
